Xiid was founded in 2018 on a single conviction: detection-based security was structurally broken, and the only real fix was to build something fundamentally different. That meant starting from first principles. Instead of just improving existing tools, we focused on rearchitecting how networks protect themselves.

Founders and early engineers developed the core architecture and intellectual property before evolving into what is now the Terniion platform. Series Seed financing closed in September 2021, marking the shift from foundational development to commercialization.

What followed was accelerated: platform maturation; enterprise deployments; DoD Authority to Operate achieved; further validation by the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, and expansion of use cases leveraging our patented technology.

In 2025, we expanded to enterprise environments and strategic partnerships.
